01 — Services & prices

The Redmond head spa and massage menu.

Pacific is a head spa and massage room in Redmond, WA: basin sessions 45 to 90 minutes from $70, bodywork 30 to 120 minutes from $50, facials 40 to 150 minutes from $80. Scrubs, cupping and the packages that hold two services in one appointment are on the menu as well. Each card shows where that family starts, not what every session in it costs. Every line, every length and every price sits on the full menu, and the basin tiers get a tier-by-tier price guide of their own. Monday to Wednesday the studio runs a separate card of half-hour sessions — those are on the weekday specials page.

The 60-minute Signature, in order

Five steps, exactly as the menu prints them for the $80 tier:

  1. 01 Head massage
  2. 02 Scalp cleanse
  3. 03 Hair wash and treatment
  4. 04 Upper-shoulder massage
  5. 05 Blow-dry

02 — The signature

A head spa is not a shampoo.

A salon washes your hair so it can cut it. A head spa treats the wash as the entire appointment. You lie face-up with a warm towel over your shoulders. Water runs through a basin built for this and nothing else, and a licensed massage therapist works the scalp in sections — hairline, crown, the ridge behind the ears, down into the neck and shoulders.

The middle of the session is the part nobody expects. Once the scalp lets go, the jaw usually follows, then the breathing. Talk tapers off on its own, and nobody here expects conversation. The hour closes with a conditioning treatment, a warm rinse and a blow-dry, so you leave looking finished rather than damp.

Sixty minutes ($80) is the honest starting point and the tier most first-timers book. Ninety ($120) is the same arc, slower. If your scalp is the actual reason you are coming — flaking, buildup, tightness that will not quit — the 10-minute Scalp Analysis ($30) is worth doing first so you are choosing a treatment instead of guessing at one. The long version of all of it, basin included, is in the Japanese-style guide.

The three plain basin tiers, by length and list price
Tier Minutes Price
Mini Classic Relaxing 45 min $70
Signature 60 min $80
Luxury 90 min $120
The herbal tiers and the weekday session sit alongside these on the head spa menu — the Redmond price guide lays out every line, add-ons included.

Worth saying plainly

Massage and scalp care may help with relaxation and everyday muscle tension, and that is roughly how the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health frames massage — useful for some people, not a treatment for disease. Its consumer guidance asks you to tell the practitioner about your health situation and keep your own provider in the loop, and Mayo Clinic files relaxation techniques under stress management rather than treatment. So, plainly: none of this treats hair loss or any medical scalp condition. If something on your scalp is changing, itching or painful, see a clinician — and tell your therapist before the session starts.

03 — Comparing studios

What “best head spa” honestly means.

The star ratings that exist for a spa sit on different platforms and disagree with each other, which is why this site publishes none of its own and claims no award. What you can verify before you book is narrower, and more useful.

Five things you can check from your phone

  • The basin tiers run $70 to $130, bodywork $50 to $180, the longer scalp treatments $180 to $220, and two guests from $160. The 180-minute Royal 3-in-1 Luxury Ritual is $300 per guest.
  • The doors open at 10 AM and close at 10 PM, seven days a week, weekends included.
  • Single-guest spa pairings run 90 to 150 minutes, from $130. The Royal 3-in-1 Luxury Ritual combines three 60-minute treatments for $300.
  • Each package has its own inclusions. Back Massage + Signature Head Spa includes 45 minutes of back and legs massage and 45 minutes of head spa.
  • Parking is free. Garage under the block, ticket validated at the front desk.

Hold every studio you are weighing up to the same five. Two longer reads run the checks in detail — one on choosing a Redmond scalp studio and one on comparing massage studios without star ratings.

04 — Finding us

Suite 190, and the parking is free.

The studio sits on NE Shen St just off 152nd Ave NE, in the block shared with the Aloft and Element hotels — a short hop from downtown Redmond, Overlake and the Microsoft campus, and an easy run from Bellevue, Kirkland or Sammamish depending on traffic.

Pull into the garage between the two hotel buildings, park anywhere, and bring your ticket up with you. The front desk validates it, so the parking costs nothing. Full directions and a step-by-step of the garage approach are on the location page.

06 — Common questions

Answered before you ask.

The longer versions, plus everything about pressure, couples bookings and what to wear, are on the FAQ page. If you would rather just ask a person, the contact page has the phone number and the hours it is answered.

What is a head spa, and how is it different from a salon wash?

+

A salon washes your hair so it can cut or style it — a short stop at a shampoo bowl. Here the wash is the whole appointment: 45 to 90 minutes face-up at a reclining hydrotherapy basin while a therapist works the scalp in sections, then the neck and shoulders, finishing with a treatment, a warm rinse and a blow-dry.

How much does a head spa cost in Redmond?

+

From $70. The 45-minute Mini Classic is $70, the 60-minute Signature — the tier most first-timers book — is $80, and the 90-minute Luxury is $120. The Chinese Herb version is $90 for 60 minutes or $130 for 90.

Are you open late?

+

Every day, 10 AM to 10 PM, weekends included. Longer sessions need an earlier evening start, so call if you want a 90-minute or a package late in the day.

Do you take walk-ins?

+

Yes, subject to what is open when you arrive. Booking ahead is how you secure the basin or the couples room, which are limited.

Where do I park?

+

In the garage under the block. There are two entrances, one off NE Shen St between the Aloft and Element hotel buildings and one off 152nd Ave NE. Bring your ticket in and the front desk validates it, so parking is free.

Do you sell gift cards?

+

Yes, through the same Fresha account the booking runs on — the Gift Cards link at the foot of this page opens it. A card covers whatever the recipient chooses off the menu rather than one fixed session, which matters when the tiers run from a $70 45-minute basin session to $220 for the longest scalp treatment.
